Reviewed Financial Statements

If your organization doesn’t require a certified audit – but still needs financial information reviewed by a CPA we provide Reviewed Financial Statements in accordance with standards issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Most lenders will accept a reviewed financial statement from our firm instead of an audit to meet a business’s loan covenants. It is often within the discretion of the bank or other lender’s loan officer to make this decision.

In a Review, we attest that no material modifications in your financial statements are necessary to be in compliance with your chosen basis of accounting. This attestation opinion increases the fee we charge as a result of our accepting this responsibility. This provides assurance to a lender or bank or other third party that the financial statements your business is presenting are correct and that enough information is disclosed to allow the reader, or user, to understand the financial condition of the business.

Our fee for doing Reviewed Financial Statements is often a fixed or agreed upon fee. Please call us if your organization needs Reviewed Financial Statements and we will develop a fee estimate for you.

Compiled Financial Statements

When a client needs financial statements for the use of a third party, but a Certified Audit or Reviewed Financial Statement is not required, we can issue a Compiled Financial Statement. Compiled Financial Statements provide complete financial reports for owners, board members, or creditors of a business or other entity. Most lenders will accept this type of financial statement from our firm, provided your company is in compliance with all of its loan covenants.

In a Compilation, we attest that your financial statements are in compliance with your chosen basis of accounting. This opinion increases the fee we charge as a result of our accepting this responsibility. This provides assurance to a lender or bank or other third party that the financial statements your business is presenting are correct and that enough information is disclosed to allow the reader, or user, to understand the financial condition of the business. Sometimes, a company will want to omit all disclosures and simply present the financial statements. A Compilation can be used to do this too.

Our fee for doing Compiled Financial Statements is often a fixed or agreed upon fee, and is lower than our other attestation services, particularly if all disclosures are omitted. Please call us if your business needs Compiled Financial Statements, and we will develop a fee estimate for you.
